Metamob offers a maintenance service for TCT saw blades, which includes retensioning, replacing damaged or missing teeth, and resharpening.

The maintenance of TCT blades involves replacing affected teeth with TCT and sharpening the blade. 

TCT replating, with its increased hardness and wear resistance, gives the saw blade a significantly higher durability in cutting, resulting in cutting times of approximately 30-40 hours depending on the application.

 

They have the same application domain as stellited blades, but it is specified that for log cutting, pre-barking is necessary to maintain the integrity of the tips for as long a period as possible.

 

The dimensions of the blade width for TCT application can range from 80mm to 260mm.
