Relying on the slogan “Plant a tree for your own health”, we encourage all those working in the wood industry to actively engage in afforestation activities in the county/area they live.
Among dozens of NGOs that are supporting these kind of initiatives, we offer our help to Planteaza Fapte Bune NGO, (Plant Good Deeds Association) which is a national afforestation initiative on a voluntary basis, determined to constructively address the issue of forest conservation and sustainable exploitation of the strategic resources of wood. The largest action of voluntary afforestation will take place this fall in 30 counties on the same day. 1,000,000 trees will be planted on unproductive land and cared until reaching maturity. The 30 counties are: Arges, Prahova, Brasov, Constanta, Iasi, Mures, Cluj, Maramures County, Salaj, Alba, Sibiu, Vrancea, Olt, Suceava, Satu Mare, Covasna, Ialomita, Giurgiu, Buzau, Arad, Caras Severin, Mehedinti, Tulcea, Calarasi, Arad, Braila, Hunedoara and Valcea. It is very important to realize the importance of supporting the forestation activities in our country. We use this raw material, but it is our duty to ensure that in the future wood will be a sufficient resource.
